Goldbeck Solar uses a video podcast as part of its external corporate communications. The recordings are made on site using existing technology. NextGen Podcast provides consulting services for the project and is responsible for post-production, sound design, and formatting the content.

initial situation
The video podcast was produced internally using existing camera, lighting, and audio equipment. The goal was to establish a functional video podcast format with manageable technical effort and, in particular, to improve the sound quality, structure, and recognizability of the format.

Our role

NextGen Podcast provided Goldbeck Solar with consulting services for the implementation of a video podcast using existing on-board resources. We remotely assisted the team with questions regarding setup, recording, and format, and subsequently handled the entire post-production of the episodes.

Working methods and cooperation

The video recordings are made independently by the customer using existing equipment. NextGen Podcast provides advice in advance on the sensible use of the available technology and accompanies the production process remotely. In post-production, we optimize the audio tracks, synchronize audio and video, and edit the episodes for clear dramaturgy. In addition, we developed a custom intro and outro with music and narration to give the format a consistent visual and acoustic framework. The final episodes are exported in high resolution and made available for publication.

Result and impact
The result is a functional video podcast format that can be implemented with manageable technical effort. The focus is on good intelligibility, clean sound, and a clear format structure. The combination of internal production and external post-production keeps the effort low while ensuring consistent quality.
