"It depends, of course," and we can't give general product recommendations, as everyone has individual needs. However, we can present you with a selection of products, software, hardware, etc., that we use almost daily. Entry-level microphone:

We often use the Rode NT-USB MINI to send to customers when we record podcasts online and want the quality of the podcasts to be top-notch regardless of location.
Mid-range microphone:
Shure MV 7 USB
The MV7 USB is a dynamic microphone inspired by the legendary SM7B with USB and XLR outputs. We use the MV7 USB for webinars and online podcasts.
Premium microphone:
Shure SM7b
Since we purchased some of the SHURE SM7Bs for our own studio productions, our podcasts have reached a new level in terms of sound quality. The downside is that you need an additional amplifier.
New version of the legend:
Shure SM7DB
The SHURE SM7DB is the successor to the SHURE SM7B and features a built-in amplifier. We haven't used this microphone ourselves yet, but we'd definitely consider switching to this newer model in the future.
